Pair of Danish Mid-Century Armchairs in Rose Pink Velvet

Pair of Danish Mid-Century Armchairs in Rose Pink Velvet

A rare find — a beautiful pair of Danish Mid-Century armchairs with sculptural rosewood frames, recently reupholstered in plush rose pink velvet for a fresh, striking finish.

Each chair features a tall, gently curved backrest and a deep, comfortable seat cushion, offering the kind of relaxed, supportive comfort Danish design of the period is celebrated for — these are exceptionally comfortable chairs to sit in. The rosewood frames are beautifully shaped throughout, with sculpted open arms and slender, splayed legs that give the chairs a light, elegant stance despite their generous proportions.

The recently reupholstered velvet in a soft dusty rose adds a contemporary warmth to the classic silhouette, making these chairs equally at home in a period interior or layered into a more modern scheme. Sold as a matching pair, they make a striking statement either placed together or used to anchor opposite ends of a room.
