A classic Scottish Mid-Century dining set from McIntosh, in rich teak — a butterfly-leaf extending table paired with a matching set of six dining chairs, one of which is a carver with armrests, upholstered in their original teal woven fabric.

The table has a clean, uncluttered silhouette on tapered, rounded legs, with a concealed butterfly leaf that folds up and out from beneath the top — simply slide the two halves apart and the leaf swings up into place, extending the table considerably for larger gatherings before folding neatly away again when not needed. The teak grain is beautifully figured across the surface, with the classic McIntosh bookmatched panel detailing visible when fully opened.

The set of six matching chairs share the same sculpted top rail and slim turned legs throughout, with one chair in the set made as a carver, featuring gently curved show-wood arms for the head of the table. The original teal tweed-weave upholstery adds a lovely pop of colour against the warm teak tones and remains in good condition throughout.
