A superb and increasingly rare mid-century dining set designed by Victor Wilkins for G Plan, dating from the 1960s. Beautifully crafted in rich teak, this striking set showcases the clean lines, practicality, and exceptional craftsmanship that define classic mid-century design.
The dining table features a clever extending mechanism with two additional leaves that neatly store beneath the table when not in use. This allows the table to expand effortlessly, making it perfect for both everyday dining and larger gatherings.
Accompanying the table is a set of matching dining chairs, which are particularly rare to find alongside the table. The chairs feature an extra-wide base that provides excellent comfort and stability, and they remain upholstered in their original black leatherette, which is in superb condition.
Both elegant and highly functional, this is a stunning mid-century dining set and a wonderful example of Victor Wilkins’ celebrated work for G Plan.
